Senior Client Accountant

Our client is looking for a highly motivated person to join their Client Accounting department within the group.
Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be actively involved in the day-to-day accounting requirements within the department.

Responsibilities:
Responsible of a small portfolio of clients
Manage the accounting team
Review team members’ work for accuracy and compliance
Compiling of management accounts and completing VAT Returns
Prepare ad-hoc financial reports by analysing and summarizing accounting information
Liaise with auditors
Perform other tasks as may be delegated by the Finance Manager from time to time

Requirements:
In possession of a university degree in accounting or in final stages of ACCA/ACA qualifications.
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Able to work against deadlines and deliver in a timely manner
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient with MS office applications, particularly Excel
Proven ability to quickly learn new information, processes, and procedures
Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
