Sales and Admissions Officer

Job Description

Sales and Admissions Assistant will facilitate the admissions process while ensuring a connected and seamless approach to the service for applicants across the admissions service. Sales and Admissions Assistant will also be responsible for converting leads into bookings by promoting English Path products and services.

Main Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities 

  • Engage and inform prospective parents and students about English Path and the benefits of an education in our schools.
  • Promote our top-ranked programmes to potential customers and drive direct sales through phone and face-to-face conversations.
  • To support and co-operate with the wider admission team to ensure the provision of an effective and efficient admissions service for English Path.
  • To maintain accurate records in accordance with English Path requirements, ensuring compliance and maintenance of relevant systems.
  • Provide a quality, customer focussed first line, advisory and information service, giving initial support and guidance on admissions policies and procedures.

  • Preparing and filling forms and other students documents
  • Keeping up to Date student records
  • Liaise with academic departments and other administrative offices.
  • Maintain an awareness of EP’s market developments in English language sector.
  • Work closely with members of the Sales and Marketing team as and when required including publications, promotions, market research, events, and PR activity.
  • Liaise with colleagues in all relevant departments such as student services and admissions to ensure a seamless customer journey.
  • Keep up to date with developments in the schools’ course offering, fees, visa regulations, visa fees, medical or any other requirements as well as advice and guidance sought by enquirers and applicants such as the initial application cycle, processing time and clearing processes.
  • Take an applicant-first approach to enquiry handling and customer services, putting the needs of the student at the heart of all our activity and ensuring a tailored approach based on the individual’s requirements.
  • Support the school’s enquiries across all destinations to international applicants, dealing with telephone, email, live chat, social media and face-to-face course enquiries in a timely and professional manner to ensure the delivery of an efficient, customer-focused service for prospective students.


  • Eligibility to work in Malta
  • Proven ability to work within a team and autonomously.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Fluency in at least one foreign language essential
  • Strong phone presence and experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritise, and manage time effectively
  • Able to deliver and address persuasive presentations to a wide range of audiences.
  • An understanding of cultural sensitivity, tact, and diplomacy with the ability to remain calm in difficult situations.
  • Actively seeking and acting upon feedback to improve as a professional.
