Outside Sales Representative

 

Our client is a long established and trusted food importation company and due to expansion and growth, they are seeking to recruit a Full-Time Sales Representative.

Responsibilities:

• Visit clients to take orders and assist with enquiries about company products.
• Promote products to new and existing clients.
• Execute an effective sales strategy
• Liaise internally with Sales, Operations and Logistics Departments

Requirements:

• Previous experience within a similar role in the foods industry is a must
• Fluency in both Maltese and English
• In possession of a Clean Maltese/EU Driving License
• Excellent customer service skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

Responsibilities :

• Posting of sales and purchase invoices
• Preparation and processing of payment runs
• Recording of customer receipts and debtor chasing
• Preparation of cashbook entries and performing periodic cash reconciliations
• Preparation of periodic bank, supplier and intercompany reconciliations
• Assisting in month-end procedures
• Document filing and other ad-hoc duties.
