Accounts Clerk

We are currently looking for an Accounts Clerk who will be responsible in assisting in the daily routines of the Finance department and be responsible for the Bank reconciliations of all bank accounts held.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Responsible for the reconciliation of monthly bank balances to bank statements within fifteen days from month end, liaising with colleagues in clearing all reconciling items and querying in writing any discrepancies emanating from the bank Statement with Banks’ staff to ensure clearance of reconciling items by the end of the month.
  • Assisting with deposits, cheque printing, receipting, allocation of debtors, updating of information and reconciliations when other colleagues are absent from work to ensure the continuous service the department gives to other departments and third parties.
