Job Description


Excellent position calling for an experienced individual to manage and supervise staff to achieve the required standards, in presentation of food and bar service. Must be instrumental in maximising food and beverage sales.


Our client is a major group incorporating various companies well involved in the construction, hotel and other industries.


  • Ensures a smooth running of the operation at all times.
  • Encourage upselling, responsible for training of staff.
  • Ensure that all staff are smart, alert, highly motivated, trained and friendly.
  • To lead by example, stressing attention to detail. To care and be efficient in giving the personal service to the guest.
  • Acknowledging the guest, hosting, answering the telephone according to the company standard, greeting and seating guests, responsible for bookings, especially large groups.
  • To be able to handle complaints in a professional and sensitive manner and to follow-up on any cases reported by staff, and those reported on website, facebook and other social media.
  • To be efficient, caring and friendly in all communications when dealing with guests and colleagues.
  • To be professional and co-operative with staff, being a good team member.
  • Conduct on-the-job training and ensure that standards, behaviour and proper grooming is adhered to at all times by all staff.
  • Responsible for weekly roster of staff, manage vacation leave and time-off, monitor sick leave
  • To be responsible for all money transactions, cash float and billing procedures.
  • To ensure that the proper hygiene standards are adhered to at all times.
  • To adhere to all company rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Supervise tasks assigned to Restaurant Supervisors, to ensure consistency in service and adherence to company’s procedures.
  • Demonstrate understanding and awareness of all policies and procedures relating to Health, Hygiene and Fire Safety
  • Meets any other requests given by superiors.


This position calls for a smart, outgoing and responsible individual who possesses an excellent eye for detail. The ideal candidate shall be an interpersonal and problem-solving individual with excellent customer service, organisational and people management skills.


A salary between € 30k to € 35k (including car allowance and performance bonus) is being offered to the right candidate.


Previous experience in a similar position is required.
