Job Description


The Paid Search Specialist is responsible for executing and managing Paid Search campaigns (focused on our Scandinavian markets). Responsibilities include planning, executing and evaluating paid search campaigns aligned with the overall performance marketing activity. The candidate understands and supports initiatives that will contribute to the goals and success of the campaigns. Cross-channel integrated advertising experience and mindset are really appreciated (paid social, display, video, etc.)


  • Plan, negotiate and execute Digital Media campaigns based on business objectives.
  • Develop and manage Paid Search campaign strategies and tactics for the requested markets.
  • Provide recommendations and execute strategies for keyword opportunities, campaign structuring, targeting, display network, and other facets of paid search in accordance with the overall marketing goals.
  • Perform daily account management of Google AdWords, Bing for a variety of markets (global accounts management experience is required).
  • Day by day implementation of Paid Search tactics that include keyword development, bid management, ad copy testing, budget allocation and landing pages optimization.
  • Make sure full tracking is in place and the internal reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis is granular and relevant to the business needs. Full control on Analytics and Tag Management for the activity managed.
  • Assist in the maintenance and monitoring of keyword bids, account daily and monthly budget caps, impression share, quality score and other important account metrics.
  • Collaborate with the Industry Manager and Account Manager of the main providers in order to maximize the effectiveness of the spend, as well as getting to test the latest features available to enhance the real time marketing.
  • Display advertising management through AdWords and other platforms.
  • Generate weekly and monthly reporting for all major metrics, goals tracking, revenue tracking, and other paid search initiatives.
  • Align with the SEO team for keywords research and opportunities.
  • Must be able to assess current interactive campaigns and provide actionable next steps for improvement.
  • Maintain high levels of up-to-date knowledge of best practices and strategies in the management of paid search media.

Professional Skills & Qualifications:

  • AdWords / Bing certification with an in-depth knowledge of these platforms.
  • Google Analytics certification. Tag management certification.
  • 3 – 5 years experience in Paid Search, most valuable if in Digital Agencies.
  • Experience in Double Click Campaign Manager is a must. Experience in trading on Programmatic Platforms would be a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, project management and time management skills.
  • Experience on Paid Social would be a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluent in any of Scandinavian languages is considered a plus!
