Looking for a new venture within a leading company that delivers highly personalized financial and banking services? A leading digital bank in Malta is seeking a reliable and highly motivated Consumer Banking Manager to contribute to manage relationships with individual banking customers. Reporting directly to COO you will drive global strategies and tactics regarding Client Experience, Client Relationships and Operational Excellence.

As a leader you will be managing a team comprised of Relationship/Account Managers. They will focus on developing and executing customer-driven market strategies while adhering to regulatory, securities and supervision laws, policies and procedures.

What is expected of you?

  • Managing the day-to-day activities of or Relationship/Account Managers (RMs) to drive sales growth, including: managing sales interactions, sales processes and outbound calling
  • Translation strategy into actionable plans for the market, diagnosing team performance in order to develop action plans to drive sales productivity
  • Monitoring and inspect Client Management process
  • Managing and execute end to end talent management process for RMs including market expansion, hiring, onboarding, proficiency of sales management
  • Perform performance reviews of all RMs and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Enforcing policies and procedures whilst ensuring adherence of team members
  • Ensuring coordination and adherence of team members to operational policies, procedures
  • Performing of administration of superior sales supervision best practices in order to remain up to date on all Risk and Regulatory requirements
  • Driving an enhanced client experience
  • Molding the behavior and performance of all team members, while maintaining adherence to applicable securities and regulatory laws, polcies and procedures
  • Resolving all client issues that are elevated to management level
  • Driving sales management routines

What are you expected to bring?

  • Relevant degree
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience
  • Prior management experience
  • Proven track record of coaching and improving performance in others
  • Proactively builds trusted relationships with key partners/clients
  • Can quickly learn partners business, priorities, challenges, and goals
  • Can attract, recruit and retain an effective sales force
  • Exercises good judgment and experience to make timely and effective decisions
  • Projects enthusiasm, optimism, and determination
  • Communicates clearly and effectively at all levels
  • Communicates strategic business plans and tactical sales goals to team members
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to perform in an explosive growth environment that is experiencing change
  • Ability to lead and motivate a diverse group of employees
  • Promotes a client-first mindset among the team
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and excellent time management skills
