Business Development Executive

Who you are:

As the Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for generating sales for NetRefer, using a variety of sales techniques and building a relationship with the Client. To be successful in this role, you must be able to gather business intelligence on companies, leads and qualified prospects by displaying an energetic persona, be well-spoken and eager to close sales and increase revenue.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Researching organisations to identify new leads and potential new markets
  • Building a strong commercial relationship with targeted clients and the relevant stakeholders
  • Creating prepositions that create successful business deals both for NetRefer and the client
  • Delivering effective sales pitches and presentations both over the phone and in person at all levels, demonstrating NetRefer strengths
  • Keeping abreast of industry news whilst gather information about the competition
  • Providing support to various internal teams during the sales life cycle process
  • Understanding of client needs and challenges through solution selling
  • Managing multiple business opportunities simultaneously without losing focus under pressure
  • Identifying improvements or enhancements to our products that will satisfy customer needs and passing this information to the relevant internal teams
  • Delivering of weekly reports on new business, as required
  • Attending conferences, meetings, and industry events both locally and internationally



  • Target driven with a desire to achieve and contribute towards the success of the company’s goals
  • Ability to engage with C-Level executives and communicate effectively
  • A proactive approach to problem solving with a diligent mind and an eye for detail
  • Experience in writing strong proposals and present them to potential clients
  • A positive attitude to solve and tackle challenges
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong selling, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Solid relationship building and networking skills
  • Strong business acumen
  • Strong customer orientation approach
  • Ability to multi-task and plan effectively
  • Good numerical and costing skills
  • Basic understanding of the technical principles behind online marketing
  • 4+  years’ experience in a similar position, preferably within an iGaming or software development sales function
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events will be considered an asset
